Hello and Welcome to The Reignited Project!
I’m Jen Rivera, a passionate advocate, investigative podcaster, certified life and grief coach, and most importantly—a survivor who’s here to share my story and help others navigate their own journey through grief, trauma, and healing.

As a military wife, mother of four children, and someone who’s been with my husband for nearly 20 years, I understand the importance of community, strength, and resilience. My life has been shaped by experiences of trauma, loss, and personal transformation—experiences that have not only led me to this work but have fueled my mission to help others.
My Journey to Reignited Media & The Reignited Project
After working as a senior-level marketing professional for over 15 years in the corporate world, I realized I wasn’t fulfilled in my role. While I had built a successful career, something was missing—I wanted to make a real difference. So, in 2022, I made the leap and founded Reignited Media. I began working freelance for other entrepreneurs and podcasters, combining my expertise in marketing, communications, and graphic design with my desire to help others create meaningful work.

It was during this time that I launched The Unseen Truth, a short-form investigative podcast focused on unsolved cases and missing persons, under my own company. This podcast became a stepping stone, allowing me to share powerful stories and give a voice to those who had been overlooked.
In 2024, I co-founded Fire Eyes Media with my incredible friend and business partner, Jules Thorp. Together, we’ve built a thriving network of ethical, victim-centered podcasters who are committed to telling stories with integrity and compassion. Our work within Fire Eyes Media has allowed us to expand our mission and reach more people, making a tangible difference in the true crime community.

Along the way, I became dual-certified as a professional life coach and grief coach, further cementing my commitment to helping others navigate their own healing journeys.

The Reignited Project: From Vision to Reality

While my background in marketing communications, journalism, and graphic design has provided me with the skills to create and share impactful stories, my personal experiences as a sexual assault survivor and a victim advocate have made this work deeply personal. I know what it feels like to be silenced, to be overlooked, and to grieve in ways that no one understands. That’s why the Reignited Project means so much to me—it’s a space where those who are struggling with grief, trauma, and mental wellness can find support, understanding, and hope.

The Reignited Project was founded in 2023, but it wasn’t until this year that it truly came to life in the form of a vibrant community and resource hub. It’s a place where people can come together to heal, find encouragement, and reignite their inner strength. Whether you’re navigating the aftermath of loss, facing the shadows of trauma, or simply seeking a place to feel seen and heard, you belong here.

As part of this movement, we also launched Healing Reignited, a podcast that shares empowering stories, expert guidance, and real conversations about grief, healing, and mental wellness. It’s another extension of my mission to offer a voice to the voiceless and help others find their own path to transformation.
Why The Reignited Project Matters
This journey has been one of resilience, purpose, and ultimately healing. And through the Reignited Project, I’m able to give back to others who are walking a similar path. My work isn’t just about podcasting, coaching, or even the stories we tell—it’s about creating a community where people can feel empowered to take control of their healing, regain their sense of self, and rebuild their lives after loss or trauma.
The Reignited Project is a space of hope and transformation. Here, we embrace all the complexities of grief, trauma, and mental wellness, and we give people the tools to turn their pain into purpose. I’m honored to be part of your healing journey, and I’m committed to supporting you every step of the way.
