The Reignited Project is an education-centered nonprofit focused on missing-person advocacy, preparedness, child and family safety, ethical case awareness, and community action. We believe education can create clarity, advocacy can create direction, and communities can create meaningful change.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to equip individuals, families, advocates, and communities with education, practical resources, preparedness tools, advocacy guidance, child and family safety initiatives, and meaningful opportunities to take action. Through our Case Compass Hub, Bee Ready Safety Kits, and The Hive, we help people feel more informed, better prepared, and more empowered to navigate difficult situations and support their communities.
Education creates understanding.

OUR STORY
The Reignited Project began with one simple idea: hope can be reignited, even in the darkest places. What started as a personal mission centered on hope, healing, and connection has grown into an education-centered nonprofit focused on missing-person advocacy, preparedness, child and family safety, ethical case awareness, and community action. As the mission evolved, so did the work, but the heart of it never changed.
Today, The Reignited Project exists to turn education into understanding, advocacy into action, and hope into something people can carry forward.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Jen Rivera is an investigative podcaster, advocate, educator, and nonprofit founder whose work centers on missing persons, ethical advocacy, education, and community impact. Her work is shaped by both professional and lived experience. She is a sexual assault survivor and has also navigated a loved one’s missing-person case firsthand, serving as a family spokesperson and advocate throughout the process. Those experiences have deeply influenced The Reignited Project’s focus on practical education, trauma-informed advocacy, preparedness, ethical storytelling, and community action.
As Founder and President, Jen leads the organization’s programs, partnerships, educational strategy, and long-term vision.
