WELCOME TO
THE REIGNITED PROJECT

The Reignited Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering survivors, families, and advocates through trauma-informed education, support, and outreach. Founded by Jen Rivera—a survivor, investigative podcaster, and advocate—our mission is to remind every person that even in the ashes, there is still light.
What began as a movement has grown into a powerful network of hope and action, built on four core branches:

THE HIVE
The heart of our community, where compassion becomes action. Through outreach, volunteering, and advocacy, The Hive empowers individuals to come together, serve others, and bring tangible support to survivors, families, and local organizations.

THE COMPASS
Our educational branch offering trauma-informed courses, programs, and tools for families, advocates, and professionals. The Compass exists to guide individuals through the complexities of grief, trauma, and mental wellness with compassion and clarity.

THE EMBER COLLECTIVE
Our alliance network dedicated to amplifying stories, raising awareness, & collaborating with media and organizations to create lasting change. Through storytelling, partnerships, & campaigns, The Ember Collective helps reignite hope where it’s needed most.
SHORES OF STRENGTH
Our direct support branch serving families of the missing and murdered. Shores of Strength (SOS) provides digital media toolkits & resources, awareness tools, and advocacy support to help families find answers and bring their loved ones’ stories to light.
Together, these branches form the heart of The Reignited Project. Through our Healing Reignited Podcast, programs, and ongoing community initiatives, we are reigniting hope in the darkest spaces and empowering others to turn pain into purpose. At The Reignited Project, we believe lasting change begins with compassion, education, and action. Whether you’re here to seek support, expand your understanding, or join the movement for trauma-informed advocacy, your presence matters. Together, we are building a future where every story is heard, every voice is valued, and every step forward creates change.
INTRODUCING

The Linda Brown Advocacy Protocol is our new initiative created in honor of Linda Brown and informed by our family’s lived experience navigating a missing person’s case. This initiative was born from the painful reality of how overwhelming and isolating the earliest days can be when a loved one goes missing.

As we searched for Linda, we experienced firsthand how quickly communication breaks down, how confusing the process becomes, and how little guidance families are often given during the most critical moments. This program exists so other families do not have to face that uncertainty alone. Focused exclusively on missing persons cases, the Linda Brown Advocacy Protocol is a trauma-informed initiative designed to bridge the gap between families, advocates, media, and law enforcement, helping families navigate urgency with clarity, care, and dignity.

Linda’s name now stands for protection, preparedness, and hope. This is her legacy, and a promise that other families will be supported when they need it most.
